Finding homes for retired greyhounds

More misleading information from Mr Stow and inacurate industry information.

One important factor this article omits to mention is that many thousands of young greyhounds (including puppies), bred to supply the demand of the British dog racing industry, are “put down” each year without ever having a “racing career”, because they are considered not suitable for the purpose.

The industry prefers to keep quiet about the plight of these “failed racers”, which are put to death in far greater numbers than “retired” greyhounds.
