G.A.I.P (Greyhound Action in Peterborough) PROTEST PETERBOROUGH GREYHOUND STADIUM 24.11.2012

11 dedicated greyhound protection campaigners gathered this evening in the pouring rain and cold to be a voice for the greyhounds, who were sadly being forced to race in the adverse weather conditions 🙁

Not greatly attended by racegoers and judging by the amount of people stopping to wind down their car windows to take our awareness leaflets, it seems that most were possibly first time customers and probably hadn’t met the protesters or seen the banners.

The low attendance could also have been due to the fact that G.A.I.P have done a massive mail out in the catchment area of the stadium, over the past fortnight, to local work places etc with the W.W.W. (Winning Words in the Workplace) awareness leaflet packs.
