AFG STALL at HARFORD BRIDGES CAR BOOT SITE, NORWICH, 01.11.2015
A lovely Autumn morning for our stall at this very popular car boot sale, held on a lovely clean hard standing site at the Harford Bridges Park and Ride site. Open every Sunday morning (except Christmas and New Year weekends).
Again, due to receiving good quality donated items, we always have some very interesting bargains on offer for sale as well as displaying some of our unique merchandise and being able to distribute our awareness leaflets.
We also receive many generous donations to our collection pots. We have a lovely space for our beautiful hounds to be kept comfortable and as usual they receive lots of affection from car boot visitors.
AFG NEWCASTLE AWARENESS AND FUNDRAISING STALL AT NEVFEST, SUNDERLAND 15.11.2015
Thanks to great AfG supporter Lynsey for organizing this event with the help of Heather and other supporters.
This is the second year the group have held a very successful stall at the event at the great venue, the Stadium of Light in the City of Sunderland. The event is ever growing in popularity with great public interest and support with more stalls exhibiting each year promoting a cruelty free lifestyle with lots of vegan food and recipes on offer as well as promoting animal rights issues.
The AfG was kept very busy all day with much merchandise sold, lots of awareness material distributed and very generous donations given. This is also a great opportunity for the group to raise their profile in the area, because, as well as holding awareness/fundraising events in and around Newcastle, the group also hold regular peaceful demonstrations outside the Newcastle greyhound track on a Saturday evening https://www.facebook.com/actionforgreyhoundsnewcastle/?fref=ts
AFG MONTHLY STALL at CHARITY STALL, HAYMARKET, NORWICH 22.11.2015
Another mild Autumn Saturday for our very popular stall today.
We had some beautiful hand made cards donated which were very popular, especially the unique sighthound cards, some of them which were specially made Christmas cards.
These are beautifully hand crafted by very talented AfG supporters Karenza and Teresa.
Autumn is a very busy time for us with our cosy sighthound head and neck gear and jumpers much in demand, so as well as them being purchased from our website, there are always a good selection of them for sale on our stalls.
Again these items are beautifully crafted by our very talented local ladies and some from across the UK who often donate the yarn as well as taking up so much of their time making the items.
We are very lucky to be able to have dry mild weather to have our stall in the Autumn and Winter months as this is usually a hard period for us to be raising our vital funds.
